About the Unit
The Mandel graduate community comprises approximately 2,500 women and men and is one of the largest and most established graduate communities in Israel’s educational and social landscape. Each year, about 200 new graduates join the community. The Mandel Graduate Unit supports graduates in their efforts to expand and deepen their impact on Israeli society.

Graduates of the Mandel Center for Leadership in the Negev
Graduates of the Mandel Center for Leadership in the Negev Comprising approximately 400 men and women, the graduate community operates throughout the Negev: from Kiryat Gat to Eilat, and from the eastern to the western Negev. It is marked by rich social diversity, encompassing Jews and Arab-Bedouins, religious and secular individuals, as well as residents of cities and villages.

Graduates of the Mandel Center for Leadership in the North This graduate community comprises nearly 500 men and women who live and work in northern Israel. The graduates represent a wide range of communities, perspectives and professional fields, united by a shared understanding of the importance of leadership within a diverse society and a commitment to addressing the region’s varied challenges.

Graduates of the Mandel Program for Leadership in Jewish Culture
Graduates of the Mandel Program for Leadership in Jewish Culture This graduate community is dedicated to fostering a rich, diverse and deeply connective Jewish culture, both in Israel and across the Jewish world. The network includes more than 130 graduates - entrepreneurs and leaders in the fields of culture, arts, media, creativity, and community -representing the full spectrum of Jewish cultural expression in Israel.

Graduates of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership
Graduates of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership After thirty years of activity, the graduate community of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership comprises more than 530 men and women serving in key positions across the education system, government ministries, local authorities, academia, and educational and social organizations.

Graduates of the Mandel IDF Educational Leadership Program
Graduates of the Mandel IDF Educational Leadership Program The program’s graduates include 330 men and women, all of whom are current or former IDF servicemen and servicewomen. Approximately one third continue to serve in the military in a variety of roles and units, while the others work across a broad range of fields, including education, social services, training, and consulting.

Graduates of the Mandel Program for Youth Leadership This graduate community comprises over 200 educators with extensive knowledge and experience in the field of informal education, who view diversity and plurality as assets. They work to promote social mobility through informal educational frameworks, based on the belief that such education expands opportunities and advances equal opportunity.

Graduates of the Mandel Program for Academic Leadership in Teacher Education
Graduates of the Mandel Program for Academic Leadership in Teacher Education Comprising about sixty leaders in the field of teacher training, this graduate community brings together faculty members from colleges of education and universities across the country. Its strength lies in the combination of academic expertise, practical experience, inter-institutional collaboration, and a shared commitment to leading systemic change.

Graduates of the Mandel Programs for Leadership Development in the Haredi Community
Graduates of the Mandel Programs for Leadership Development in the Haredi Community Graduates number over two hundred men and women, who today form the core of the emerging educational leadership within the Haredi community. They hold senior positions in public service, government ministries, and local authorities, and are at the forefront of integrating the Haredi community into social and economic life in Israel.

Unit Staff
The Graduate Unit’s staff support graduates in expanding and deepening their impact on Israeli society. They curate learning experiences, develop and facilitate content, guide initiatives within the graduate’s professional fields, and create opportunities for networking and collaboration at community events. Maintaining ongoing contact with graduates is a core part of the staff’s daily work. These interactions provide insight into evolving needs in the field, allowing programs and responses to be continuously refined.
To effectively serve a community that is culturally and professionally diverse across the country, the staff draws on expertise from multiple areas, including community leadership, content development and facilitation, program implementation and digital innovation.
